Steelers @ Bills
Steelers +14
Too many points. Kenny Pickett is making his first career start and the Bills have a history of winning in blowout fashion, but this is a potential trap spot. The Bills have come off two very emotional games against Miami, the Ravens, and have a playoff rematch vs the Chiefs next week.
Kenny Pickett threw a couple INTs late, but two were off his receivers’ hands. Overall, he looked a lot better than Mitch Trubisky and should be considered an upgrade. The Steelers players were furious with how they lost last week. Look for them to compete for their rookie QB and keep it close.
Dolphins @ Jets
Dolphins -3.5
Fairly simple analysis on this one. The Dolphins were 6-point favorites with Tua playing and since it was announced he is out it has fell 3 points. I don’t think the drop off from Tua to Teddy is worth 3 points, maybe 1. The Jets have a ton of injuries on their o-line and the win last week vs the Steelers was gift-wrapped. I expect Mike McDaniel to make this easy on Teddy. Love the Fins to cover.
Cowboys @ Rams
Cowboys +4.5
Cooper Rush is 3-0 ATS and this is the first time since 1993 a Cowboys defense hasn’t allowed 20 points in its first four games. WR Michael Gallup is back for the Cowboys and this offense should only improve . As mentioned, we know what their defense is bringing to the table and Micah Parsons will wreak havoc on a weak offensive line from the Rams. Happy to have the points here.
Eagles @ Cardinals
Eagles -5
I’m positive the Cardinals are a complete dumpster fire. They had a respectable showing on offense last week with 132 yards of total rushing, but the Panthers put them in great positions to be successful. Kyler and Kliff seem to be at each other’s necks all season long and the play-calling has been questionable at best.
The Eagles are elite on the offensive line, elite on the defensive line and have a ton of skill position players who can be pro-bowlers. This game could get ugly.
